Frequently asked questions
About Us
What is Inclusion Arcade?
We are a Canadian federal non-profit that brings adaptive gaming, safe spaces and free play to disabled gamers, cancer survivors, neurodivergent players and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. We used to be called Warriors and Survivors eSports Gaming Lounge (WSEGL).
Why did the name change from WSEGL?
Our community grew far beyond our original cancer-survivor focus. "Inclusion Arcade" says what we do: an arcade where every player belongs. Old press and merch links that mention WSEGL are still ours.
Can I volunteer?
Yes. Pop-up crew, tech tuning, stream team, Discord moderation and fundraising roles are open. See the Volunteer page.
Events & Booking
Do you charge for events?
Public pop-ups are free to attend. For hosted events we work with your budget, and we look for sponsors so community groups, hospitals and schools can book us at low or no cost.
What ages do you serve?
All ages. Our game library is curated for families, and we tailor each event to its audience.
What games do you bring?
Every kind: racing, party, building, rhythm, puzzle, sports and shooters. If someone wants to play it, we'll help them play it. Tell us about your group when you book and we'll bring the right mix.
Do you travel outside Ontario?
Yes. We have run events in 14 cities across 2 provinces and 3 US states. Tell us about your event and we will plan travel together.
Equipment
How long do equipment requests take?
We review every C.A.R.E. request and reply with a timeline based on current stock from our Electronic Recycling Association partnership.
Can I donate my old console or PC?
Yes. Drop it off with the Electronic Recycling Association, or contact us about corporate tech donations. Devices are securely wiped and refurbished for families.
Donations
Are donations tax-receipted?
Inclusion Arcade is a registered federal non-profit corporation, not a registered charity, so we generally cannot issue official charitable tax receipts. We will confirm our exact status here.
Where does my donation go?
100% goes to direct operations: adaptive hardware, care kits and free activations. Every dollar is tracked on our public ledger on the Impact & Financials page.
Privacy
Do you track visitors or sell data?
No. We run zero third-party tracking or ad cookies and never sell or share data. Video and Twitch players only load when you press play. Our separate merch store at shop.inclusionarcade.ca runs on Shopify, which uses its own cookies for the cart and checkout.
How do I ask you to delete my information?
Email us and we will delete it within 30 days and confirm in writing.

What we collect
Only what you type into a form (like your name, email and message) so we can reply. Our server keeps a scrambled (salted hash) version of your IP address for a short time to stop spam. It can't be turned back into your address.
What we never do
- No advertising or tracking cookies, and no tracking pixels.
- We never sell or share your information.
- Twitch and YouTube players only load when you press play. Social posts are plain links.
We use one functional cookie to protect our forms from forgery. Staff who sign in to our admin panel get a session cookie. Your Options menu choices are saved only on your device.
Our store
Our merch store at shop.inclusionarcade.ca runs on Shopify, a separate site. Shopify uses its own cookies for the cart and checkout, under Shopify's privacy policy. Donations are handled by Streamlabs Charity under its own policy.
How long we keep it
Messages are archived 90 days after we resolve them and deleted after 24 months, unless we need them longer (for example, an ongoing equipment loan). Newsletter details stay until you unsubscribe.
How to ask for deletion
Email info@inclusionarcade.ca. We'll delete everything about you within 30 days and confirm in writing, as Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) requires.
