Terms of Service
The rules for using our website, sending us forms, coming to our events and donating. We've kept them short and in plain language.
Last updated October 14, 2026.
The short version
- Be kind and respectful, online and at our events.
- Don't misuse the website or try to break it.
- Tell us the truth in our forms. We use what you send only to help you (see our privacy section).
- Donations go through Streamlabs Charity, and our store runs on Shopify. Their own terms apply there too.
- Our Gear Library is information, not medical or occupational-therapy advice.
- Questions? Email info@inclusionarcade.ca.
The full terms below explain each of these. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we'll explain it.
Who we are and what these terms cover
Inclusion Arcade ("we", "us", "our") is a registered federal non-profit corporation in Canada (corporation number 1276011-8), based in Durham Region, Ontario. We used to be called Warriors and Survivors eSports Gaming Lounge (WSEGL).
These terms apply when you use this website, send us a form, join our newsletter, come to one of our events or streams, or donate. By doing any of those things, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. You can still contact us with questions.
If you're under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for younger players at our events.
Using our website
You're welcome to browse, share links and use every feature, including the Options menu, search, the Gear Library and the event calendar. Please don't:
- try to get into parts of the site you aren't allowed into, such as the staff admin panel;
- overload, scrape or attack the site, or send automated traffic or spam through our forms;
- upload or send anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that you don't have the right to share;
- pretend to be someone else, or to speak for Inclusion Arcade when you don't.
We work hard to keep the site accurate, accessible and online, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or remove parts of it at any time. If something gets in your way, please report a barrier.
Forms, messages and the newsletter
When you send a booking request, volunteer application, equipment request, partnership inquiry, barrier report or message, please give accurate information. We read everything and aim to reply within 2 business days.
Sending a request doesn't guarantee a booking, a volunteer role, a partnership or a device. Those depend on our capacity, stock, eligibility and safety checks, and we confirm them with you directly.
We use what you send only to respond to you and run our programs. We never sell it. Our privacy section explains what we collect, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email.
Events, pop-ups and streams
Our events and online spaces are for everyone, so we ask every player, family member, volunteer and viewer to:
- treat everyone with respect: no harassment, slurs, ableism, racism, sexism, homophobia or transphobia;
- take turns, follow staff instructions, and handle adaptive equipment with care;
- respect people's privacy, and don't photograph or film other players without their permission.
Our staff and moderators may ask anyone who doesn't follow these rules to leave an event, a stream chat or our Discord.
We take photos at some events. We only publish photos of people who have given consent (a parent or guardian for anyone under 18), and you can ask us to remove a photo of you at any time.
Please take breaks, and tell a facilitator if something is uncomfortable or doesn't feel right. Event details such as times, venues and games can change. We'll post updates on the events calendar.
Streams and chat on Twitch, Kick, TikTok and Discord also follow those platforms' own rules.
Donations
Donations are processed by Streamlabs Charity, not by this website. Your payment details go to them, under their terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your card number.
We use donations for our mission: adaptive gear, care kits, free events and running the organization. Our public ledger shows where the money goes.
Tax receipts: Inclusion Arcade is a registered federal non-profit corporation, not a registered charity, so we generally cannot issue official charitable tax receipts. Our team is confirming our exact status and will update this notice.
If you made a mistake with a donation, or want to change or cancel a monthly gift, contact us as soon as you can at info@inclusionarcade.ca or manage your donation. Refunds depend on Streamlabs Charity's process, and we'll do our best to help.
Our merch store
Our store at shop.inclusionarcade.ca is a separate website run on Shopify. Orders, payments, shipping, returns and refunds are handled there, under the store's own policies and Shopify's terms. Products shown on this website are a preview. The store has the current prices and stock.
The Gear Library and our advice
The Gear Library, the "find my setup" suggestions, our stories and our setup chats share what we've learned from adaptive gaming. They are general information, not medical or occupational-therapy advice. For health questions, talk to your doctor or occupational therapist.
Product names, features, prices and compatibility come from the makers and can change, so check with the maker before you buy. Mentioning a product doesn't mean we've made a deal with its maker. Where we can, try gear for free at one of our pop-ups first.
Free equipment (C.A.R.E.)
Devices from our C.A.R.E. program are donated or refurbished, and depend on stock and eligibility. We test every device before it goes out, but we provide it as it is, without a warranty. If a device is loaned rather than given, we'll explain the loan terms in writing before you receive it.
Our content, name and logo
The text, photos, graphics, pixel art and logo on this site belong to Inclusion Arcade or the people who let us use them. You're welcome to link to any page, and to quote or share our content for personal or non-commercial use, as long as you credit Inclusion Arcade and don't change its meaning.
Journalists and partners can use the logos and photos in our Press room to write about us. Please don't use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, a product or a cause, unless we've agreed in writing.
Photos of players are shared with their consent. Please don't reuse them anywhere else.
Links and other services
We link to, and sometimes show content from, other services such as Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Shopify and Streamlabs Charity. They are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for their content or how they work. Video players on our site only load when you press play.
Our responsibility
We provide this website and its information "as is", and we do our best to keep them accurate and up to date. To the extent the law allows, Inclusion Arcade isn't responsible for losses caused by using the site, relying on its information, or using other services we link to.
Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under the law that can't be waived, including consumer-protection rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our programs and the law change. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we'll also mention it on our homepage or in the newsletter. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Which laws apply
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If there's ever a disagreement, please talk to us first. Most things can be sorted out with a conversation.
