Accessibility

We're an accessibility organization, so our website should be easy for everyone to use. Here's our commitment, how to change the site to suit you, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG is the international standard for accessible websites. We test with an external auditor and with disabled gamers from our community, using keyboards, screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver), switches and eye-gaze.

Last audit: Not yet audited. An external WCAG 2.2 AA audit is booked before launch.

The Options menu

Press the Options button at the bottom-left of any page, or press Alt + O. Your choices apply instantly and are saved on this device only.

Line spacing1.6 or 2.0.
Big targetsMakes every button and link at least 56 × 56 pixels.
Reading guideA highlight bar that follows your pointer or keyboard focus.

Other things that help

  • Three skip links at the top of every page: to the navigation, the content and the footer.
  • Press / to search from anywhere.
  • Menus open with a click, Enter or Space, and arrow keys move through them.
  • No sound plays unless you press play. Videos have captions on by default.
  • Forms have no time limits, and errors are described in words.

Known issues

  • Some event photos are placeholders until consented photos are supplied.
  • The Twitch player and chat are run by Twitch and may not meet every guideline.
