Every hand. Every body. Every player.
Adaptive gaming means changing the controls, not the player. Here's how it works and where to try it.
- Switch
- Eye-gaze
- Sip-and-puff
- Head tracking
- Adaptive controller
What is adaptive gaming?
Adaptive gaming is playing video games with controls that fit your body. Instead of a standard controller, a player might press a large switch (one big button) with a hand, foot or head, use eye-gaze (a camera that follows where you look), blow into a sip-and-puff tube, or move a cursor with small head movements.
Software can also remap controls, which means moving any action to a button you can reach. The game stays the same. The way in changes.
