Lead a wagon party 2,000 miles from Independence, Missouri, to Oregon's Willamette Valley. Set your pace and rations, hunt, manage food, medicine and wagon parts, and handle river crossings, sickness and breakdowns. Play with a mouse, touch or keyboard: keys 1–6 pick an action, P pauses and T reads the story aloud. One-switch players can turn on Auto-Scan, which steps through the choices every 2.5 seconds; press Space to choose. Options include bigger text, a dyslexia-friendly font and high contrast, and events are announced to screen readers.
