The Xbox Adaptive Controller (XAC) is a flat hub with two large buttons and 19 ports. Any switch, button or joystick you plug in can take over any controller input.

Where to start

  1. Work out which movements are comfortable: a hand, a foot, your head or a breath.
  2. Pick one or two switches for the actions you use most.
  3. Remap the rest in the Xbox Accessories app.

Try before you buy

Every pop-up has an XAC station. Find one on the Events Calendar, or explore the Gear Library.
